For years, we ran incident response for SMEs that had been attacked. They all had cybersecurity tools. None of them had anyone to operate those tools. Cyna is our answer to that gap.

Our story.
Cyna was founded in 2022 by a team coming from incident response. For years, we worked with SMEs and mid-market businesses that had just been hit by a cyberattack. The finding was always the same: they had deployed an antivirus, an EDR, sometimes even a SIEM. Nobody was operating it.
At the end of every engagement, we wrote the same paragraph in our reports: this attack would have been detected and stopped if someone had been monitoring the existing stack. And every time, the client asked the same question: why is nobody doing that?
Cyna is our answer to that question.

Cybersecurity has been built as a vendor market. People buy an EDR the same way they buy an office suite. For many SMEs, that purchase stands in for protection. It is an illusion.
For us, cybersecurity is not a product. It is a function that you practise 24 hours a day, as a team, with specific skills and an operating framework. Buying a tool and not operating it means having the illusion of being protected. And that illusion is more dangerous than no protection at all, because it stops you from acting.
That is why Cyna is not a vendor. We are a team of operators. Our product is the operation.
